The US State Department has canceled more than 600 visas to combat "birth tourism."

According to Meduza, the US State Department has established a special office focused on the issue of "birth tourism." This refers to the practice of pregnant women traveling to the United States to give birth so that their child can acquire US citizenship.
As reported by Ukraine Pravda, more than 600 visas have already been canceled as part of these measures. The initiative aims to curb these practices.
