Verstappen crashes during Dutch Grand Prix, Lando Norris wins
Max Verstappen had a disappointing race in Zandvoort, crashing out in the opening lap. McLaren's Lando Norris took the victory.

During the Dutch Grand Prix, held on Sunday afternoon, Max Verstappen was out of the race early on. The Red Bull driver crashed at the exit of the Arie Luyendijk corner, leading to an early end to his race.
Lando Norris from McLaren was the winner of the race. He crossed the finish line first and secured the victory, while Verstappen did not appear on the podium.
This was the first time since the race returned to the calendar in 2021 that Verstappen did not reach the podium at his home race.

Earlier this week, Verstappen extended his contract with Red Bull Racing until the end of 2030. However, he suggested that this is likely to be his final contract in Formula 1.
Verstappen's crash at the start of the race coincided with his comments about the future in the sport. He basically does not expect to be racing in Formula 1 after this contract ends.
Norris' victory marks an important moment for McLaren, while Verstappen and his team must reflect on a disappointing outcome in Zandvoort.
