Russian attacks target Ukrainian cities, while the Kremlin rejects Zelensky's peace proposal.

Overnight, Russian forces launched attacks on four Ukrainian cities, according to ANSA. Additionally, reports indicated that an oil refinery in Russia caught fire during the attacks.
The Kremlin has rejected the peace proposal put forward by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which includes the establishment of a free economic zone managed by third countries. According to sources, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that 'Donbass is Russian territory' and that third countries cannot manage it.

Meanwhile, the Vatican’s Secretary for Relations with States, Monsignor Gallagher, met with Lavrov, during which he emphasized that 'dialogue is now more important than ever' and that 'the war must end.'
In Moscow, CIA Director John Ratcliffe also arrived to initiate discussions regarding the current situation and prospects for dialogue. Zelensky has also stated that he is counting on China to help bring an end to the conflict.
