Woman and baby die in boat capsizing near Statue of Liberty in New York

A 27-year-old woman and a five-month-old baby died after their boat capsized in New York Harbor on Saturday night. The incident occurred near Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty is located. Police received a report of an overturned vessel at around 10:25 PM, according to reports from U.S. media outlets such as CNN.
Rescue teams with divers were dispatched to the scene to assist in the rescue operation. Twelve other individuals who were also pulled from the water are reported to be in stable condition. The cause of the boat's capsizing remains unclear.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of reckless behavior in connection with the incident. He is the captain of the boat on which he was sailing with the victims.
