A woman allegedly caused damage to airport property worth ₹49,000 at Bhubaneswar airport after her IndiGo flight was canceled on Thursday. The authorities reported that the woman created a disturbance in the departure lounge, leading to significant disruption.
Bhubaneswar airport officials, along with personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), witnessed her unruly behavior during the incident. Following the events, airport authorities filed a police complaint against the passenger.
Police have since launched an investigation into the matter and are seeking recovery of costs for the damaged equipment. An FIR has been lodged against the individual for her actions at the airport.
