Women killed in violent crimes in Brazil in separate incidents

On Saturday, October 8, a woman was fatally stabbed in the rural area of Beneditinos, Piauí. The main suspect in the crime is the victim's husband’s uncle, who was arrested at the scene by authorities. The Military Police were called following an anonymous tip about the homicide, and upon arrival, they found the woman already dead inside her home.

On the same day, in Osasco, São Paulo, a 43-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her partner, according to information from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP). This crime occurred during a time of violence affecting Brazilian families, but no further details were provided regarding the circumstances of the case.

On October 10, another woman was shot to death in Pindamonhangaba, in the interior of São Paulo. The crime occurred in the morning in a local square, specifically on Rua São Sebastião, in the Campo Alegre neighborhood. According to the police, the main suspect in the homicide in Pindamonhangaba is the victim's ex-partner, who allegedly fled after firing the shots. The case is under investigation by the city's Women’s Police Station, which addresses crimes related to domestic violence.
