A Ukrainian airstrike on Monday morning (10) struck the city of Nizhnekamsk, located in the Russian republic of Tatarstan. According to local authorities, 13 people lost their lives, including a child, and another 39 were injured.

The mayor of Nizhnekamsk, Radmir Belyayev, confirmed the casualties and accused Ukraine of targeting the city's industrial and civilian facilities.

According to a report, the attack is considered one of the deadliest in Russia since the start of the conflict in 2022, with a total of at least 13 dead and 75 injured, according to media sources.

Outside Ukraine, attacks that resulted in casualties have also been reported. In a separate incident, a Russian attack struck an area near Kharkiv in Ukraine, killing five people.

The figures from the attack in Nizhnekamsk have been corroborated by multiple sources, underscoring the severity of the situation in the region.
