Global leaders extend greetings to Pakistan on the occasion of its Independence Day, emphasizing diplomatic relations.

On the occasion of Pakistan's 80th Independence Day, global leaders extended their greetings and acknowledged the country’s diplomatic ties. Notable figures, including US State Secretary Marco Rubio, expressed support for cooperation with Pakistan in areas such as trade, energy, counterterrorism, and regional mediation, according to The Express Tribune.
Dawn reported that greetings came from a wide array of leaders, reflecting strong bilateral relations. The Iranian president, as well as Saudi Arabian leaders King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari on this significant day.
These greetings underscored the constructive relationship between Pakistan and various nations, highlighting interests in collective security, economic collaboration, and regional stability.
Such expressions of goodwill illustrated the importance that different countries place on their partnerships with Pakistan, particularly as it marks nearly eight decades of independence.
