Yellow alert for extreme cold and wind in several provinces

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has issued a yellow alert for this Saturday, August 8, warning of the possibility of adverse weather conditions in several regions of the country. Maximum temperatures of 13°C are expected in Buenos Aires City, where extreme cold could be experienced.
Additionally, a similar warning has been issued for Sunday, August 9, stating that wind gusts could exceed 100 kilometers per hour, and snowfall may affect the provinces included in the alert, including the capital.
The SMN has also reported that these weather phenomena could extend over the coming days, significantly impacting the metropolitan area and at least 13 other provinces. The public is urged to take precautions due to the sharp drop in temperatures.
Finally, for Monday, the yellow alert is expected to remain in effect, with reports of dangerous temperatures and significant winds in different regions. In the City, the forecasted maximum temperature for that day will be 12°C.
