A Russian rocket attack on a village in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv has reportedly claimed the lives of ten people, according to local authorities. The regional governor, Oleh Synyehubov, reported on Telegram that 17 others were injured as a result of the attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine would "definitely respond to this Russian attack." This announcement was made via the platform X and underscores the determination of the Ukrainian leadership to respond to military aggression.

The situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense as local authorities continue to gather information about possible casualties and reinforce security measures. The exact circumstances of the attack have not yet been fully clarified.

In addition to this incident, the state news agency TASS reported on a massive Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow during the night of Tuesday. This was described as the most intense such attack in the last two years.

As of now, there has been no statement from the Russian government regarding the attack in Kharkiv, which raises further questions about international reactions and the security situation.
