Zelensky warns of insecurity in Russian airspace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a warning regarding airspace security for airlines and airports in Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned today that Russian airspace will become completely unsafe. Zelensky directed this warning to all airlines still operating in Russian territory, as well as insurers and airports in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In his statements, according to reports, the Ukrainian leader noted that Ukraine had never threatened air superiority over Russia until now, indicating a significant shift in Kyiv's stance on air security.
Zelensky emphasized that the risks for aircraft using these airspaces will increase considerably, urging airlines to reconsider their routes and operations in the region.

This warning comes amid escalating military tensions between Ukraine and Russia, which have intensified in recent times, reflecting the current conflict situation in the country.
Zelensky's statement is seen as a step toward ensuring the safety of air operations but may also suggest a more aggressive stance in aerial relations as the conflict progresses.
