2026 Elections: Voter Data Across Brazil

The 2026 elections are set for this Sunday (4), with millions of eligible voters across various regions in Brazil.

This Sunday (4), the first round of the 2026 elections takes place across Brazil, with a significant number of eligible voters. In the state of São Paulo, 3,500 voters have been registered in penitentiaries, including temporary inmates, poll workers, and prison staff. The polling stations will be distributed across 62 electoral areas, according to data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).

The Women's Penitentiary of Mogi Guaçu stands out for having the largest electoral section among female prisons in the state, with 246 eligible female voters. This survey was also conducted by g1 with information from the TSE. Voting includes all registered groups, such as poll workers and prison officers.

In Pará, 919 voters requested the use of their social name in the electoral register. The total number of eligible voters in the state is approximately 6.3 million. The requests for social names account for about 0.01% of this total, according to the Regional Electoral Court of Pará (TRE-PA).

In Paraíba, nearly 120,000 voters do not have registered biometrics but can still vote, provided their electoral status is regular. TSE data records 119,267 voters without biometrics, representing 3.67% of the state's electorate.

In Minas Gerais, 16,337,659 voters are eligible to vote, with an equitable division between genders; 52.48% of the electorate are women, and the state has 10,074 polling places. It is the second-largest electoral college in the country, only behind São Paulo. The data is from the TSE.

In the Federal District, the number of eligible voters totals 2,253,132, a historic record for the capital. The largest electoral zone comprises Taguatinga and Águas Claras, which hosts 184,227 voters. In Ceará, approximately 7 million voters are eligible to vote.
