42 families take legal action against new flight path of Brussels Airport

A citizen collective called Bruegelvogelvrij, along with 42 families from the Flemish municipalities of Dilbeek, Lennik, and Roosdaal, has taken legal action against the Belgian State. The families argue that the new 'Route-Crucke' to Brussels Airport was unlawfully introduced.

According to the families, this new flight path significantly impacts their quality of life and sleep, and they experience noise disturbances of up to 85 decibels per aircraft. They describe this as a 'brutal assault' on their living environment.

The families demand that their concerns be taken seriously and indicate that they may be forced to relocate if their issues are not resolved.
