53-meter-high statue of Mary inaugurated in Poland
On August 15, a massive statue of Mary will be inaugurated in a Polish village to attract pilgrims.
In the village of Konotopie, a 55-meter-high statue of Mary will be inaugurated on August 15. The structure is considered the largest of its kind in Europe and was financed by a multimillionaire. The costs for the project amount to 23 million euros.
