In Poland, the largest Marian statue in Europe has been solemnly inaugurated. The celebrations took the form of a service during which the new structure was blessed. This statue, with a total height of more than 55 meters, is considered the largest Marian monument in Europe.

The pedestal of the statue, designed to resemble a crown, measures 15 meters in height. The statue itself reaches a height of 40.6 meters. The monument bears the title "Denkmal für die Gottesmutter" and is known as "Pomnik Matki Boskiej."

The statue is located in the village of Konotopie, approximately 190 kilometers northwest of the Polish capital, Warsaw. The region is now enriched with another tourist attraction.

The inauguration attracted numerous people who wanted to witness the event. Astonishment and praise characterized the reactions of those present. Whether the statue will resonate with the local citizens in the long term remains to be seen.

The celebrations surrounding the inauguration are also drawing media attention. In addition to regional reports, there are also national reactions to the large project, which continues the tradition of Marian statues.
