7.4 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Colombia, Causing Injuries and Damage

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Colombia on Monday, October 10, with its epicenter in San José del Palmar in the western part of the country. The tremor was felt in several cities, including the capital, Bogotá, as well as in the regions of Cali and Medellín, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
