A storm will bring rain and contrasting temperatures to Spain
A new storm is expected to arrive from Wednesday, bringing rain and storms to various parts of the country.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has warned of a new storm arriving in Spain, expected on Wednesday, August 26. This weather situation will lead to heavy rain and intense storms in various regions of the northwest of the country.
The phenomenon will cause a notable drop in temperatures in the interior of the peninsula, with a marked thermal contrast between the west and the east. Mediterranean areas are anticipated to experience temperatures that could exceed 35ºC during these days.
According to El País, in addition to the rain, strong winds are expected due to the arrival of a polar air mass. This could create adverse weather conditions in several parts of the country.

For its part, El Mundo highlights that the cold front will sweep across much of the peninsula, marking a significant change in the current weather conditions. The climate will become more unstable compared to the calm that has characterized recent days.
Infobae confirms that the storms will mainly concentrate in northern Spain, while the rest of the territory is expected to maintain a certain temporary stability before the rain arrives.
Aemet has indicated that, although meteorological summer will not officially end until September 1, the onset of the new storm could usher in fall-like conditions in some regions.
