Airlines resume flights to Caracas after hiatus
Gol, Air Europa, and Iberia are restarting flights to Caracas after suspension due to earthquakes.

Gol Linhas Aéreas will resume its flights between São Paulo-Guarulhos and Caracas on September 15. The airline had suspended this route following the severe earthquakes that occurred on June 24 and the subsequent closure of Caracas airport.
Air Europa will reopen its flights to Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas starting September 1. Like Gol, Air Europa had halted its operations due to the seismic events that affected Venezuela in June.
Iberia has also announced the restart of its operations with flights to Caracas, scheduled to begin next Thursday. The three airlines will be offering regular connections to the Venezuelan capital after a prolonged suspension period.

Air Europa's flights will occur three times a week, following the established schedule for its normal operations. Gol, on the other hand, will make the route available from Guarulhos Airport, one of the main connection points in Brazil.
The return of the airlines represents an effort to reestablish air links with Venezuela, which had been isolated due to the severe impacts of natural disasters. The suspension had caused significant difficulties for passengers and cargo.
The airlines are responding to the growing demand for travel to Venezuela as the country begins to recover from the consequences of the earthquakes and operational restrictions in its airspace.
