Ajinkya Shinde to Lead CJP Protest Amid Family Tragedy of Abhijeet Dipke
Ajinkya Shinde will head the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar as Abhijeet Dipke deals with his grandmother's death.

Ajinkya Shinde, a leader of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has been named to lead the planned protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi due to the absence of party founder Abhijeet Dipke. Dipke is currently dealing with the death of his grandmother, Savitribai Shankarrao Dipke, who passed away in Maharashtra recently.
The CJP is facing a challenging situation as many leaders, including Dipke, were detained at the Delhi airport ahead of the protest. During this detention, Dipke criticized the police actions, labeling them as undemocratic and comparing them to the tactics of a dictatorship. Shinde has urged supporters to continue protesting, advising them to stage demonstrations wherever they are stopped by authorities.
In the wake of his grandmother's passing, the Delhi Police informed Dipke about the family tragedy and offered assistance for him to return to Maharashtra to attend her last rites. However, it remains uncertain whether he will be able to join his family due to the ongoing police restrictions and his current detention status.

Shinde, who is the national organization in-charge of the CJP and organized previous agitations in Mumbai, expressed his determination for the protest to carry on despite the circumstances surrounding Dipke. He has called on supporters to remain vigilant and assertive in their demands wherever they may find themselves blocked.
The situation highlights the ongoing tensions between CJP supporters and law enforcement, especially amid a growing crackdown on protest activities. Supporters have voiced their concerns on social media, questioning the transparency and fairness of the police's handling of the situation involving Dipke.
As of now, the CJP party is actively seeking clarity on Dipke’s status and whether he will be able to attend the funeral of his grandmother. In response to the police reports, the party has released statements demanding to know his whereabouts and the details surrounding his detention.
