Senate President Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP) announced that he does not intend to move forward with new impeachment requests against Supreme Federal Court (STF) Minister Alexandre de Moraes. The statement was made during an interview on Tuesday (1st).

Alcolumbre also commented that the current number of impeachment requests directed at STF ministers is not considered normal. He referred to 109 impeachment requests that have been recorded, stating that this situation is unusual and raises concerns.

The issue arose after new messages between Alexandre de Moraes and Daniel Vorcaro from Master bank. However, the Senate President chose not to address the specific content of these communications.

In his statements, Alcolumbre mentioned that opinions should not be formed about the exchange of messages, emphasizing that the only aspect he discusses is the excessive number of impeachment requests concerning STF ministers.

The situation has sparked debates among politicians and the public, reflecting tensions in the political arena, although Alcolumbre has decided not to proceed with further actions against Moraes.
