Almada. Water alert situation ends on Monday
The SMAS announces that the alert in Almada will be lifted following the recovery of water supply.

The Municipal Water and Sanitation Service (SMAS) of Almada has announced that the alert situation due to a lack of water will be lifted next Monday. According to the agency, after successive supply failures, the situation now shows a state of 'greater tranquility.'
SMAS assured that the quality of drinking water is guaranteed, posing no risk to public health. The city's reservoirs have reached 77% capacity, contributing to the end of the alert situation.

Additionally, the agency stated that the measures implemented to recover the water supply have been effective. The normalization of service will benefit the population of Almada, which has faced difficulties in recent times.
The lifting of the alert comes at a time when there has been a significant improvement in water supply. SMAS reaffirms its commitment to monitor the situation to prevent future supply issues.
