The company intends to enhance its service capabilities by targeting one million deliveries within this year, supported by a recent regulatory approval that allows for longer-range deliveries of lightweight packages.
The expansion will enable millions more customers to receive their smaller packages via drones, particularly in suburban areas. Locations identified for new Prime Air deliveries include Chicago, Illinois; Syracuse, New York; Cleveland, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; and Boise, Idaho.
