ASN Bank shuts down old brands SNS, Regiobank, and BLG Wonen
ASN Bank has completed its first six months as an independent brand and has phased out the last remaining brands of the former Volksbank.

ASN Bank recently concluded its first six months as an independent brand. During this period, the last remaining brand of the former Volksbank, BLG Wonen, has been phased out. Earlier in the process, the names SNS and Regiobank were already removed. This means ASN Bank is now operating entirely under its own name.
The discontinuation of the old brands is a strategy aimed at reducing confusion surrounding different brand names and improving ASN Bank's financial health. The bank, which was previously part of SNS Reaal that was nationalized in 2013, aims for a stronger market position.

ASN Bank hopes that these changes will enable it to better meet the demands of customers and regulators. By eliminating older brands, the bank aims to create a clear and unambiguous brand identity.
According to reports, ASN Bank has taken necessary steps during this period, but specific details regarding the results of this transition have not been made public so far.
