At least three people died in new Russian attacks in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on Wednesday morning. The strikes, targeting energy infrastructure and residential buildings, have been confirmed by local authorities, including the Mayor of Kyiv.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced that for the second time, Ukraine's 'partners' failed to alert about missile launches from Russian territory. This lack of information makes it more challenging for the Ukrainian Army to respond effectively to the aggression.

These attacks occurred between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. In addition to the fatalities, the bombings caused significant damage to energy infrastructure, resulting in power outages affecting around 600,000 people across various regions of the country.

The attacks also resulted in fires and substantial damage to residential properties, as reported by various sources, including RTP. Emergency services are working to manage the aftermath of the attacks and assist the victims.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian air defense systems managed to neutralize a substantial number of enemy drones during the same night, with a reported total of 39 drones shot down. This response is part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to defend its territory against aggression.

In addition to Kyiv, other regions of Ukraine, such as Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk, were also targeted, with reports indicating that five people lost their lives in those areas. The Russian offensives have led to a dire security and humanitarian situation in various parts of the country.
