In the Russian attacks carried out during the night of October 13 to 14, at least six people were killed in various regions of Ukraine. According to Sky TG24, the death toll includes three victims in Kyiv, where a missile struck a nine-story residential building, causing twenty-two injuries as well.

Ukrainian authorities stated that the bombings targeted energy infrastructure, resulting in blackouts affecting approximately 600,000 people. The power outages impacted not only the capital but also the regions of Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack, claiming it disrespects the United States, which recently announced ongoing cooperation in intelligence matters. The attacks coincided with U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement regarding an energy truce between Russia and Ukraine.

According to ANSA, the Russian raids also caused damage to six thermal power plants in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. In particular, fires and damage to residential buildings occurred in Kharkiv, while rescue teams were mobilized for rescue operations.

The bombings have also raised international concerns, with NATO warning of a potential swift response in the event of attacks. Moscow, for its part, downplayed the issue, claiming that Europe is obstructing any attempts to resolve the conflict.

Reactions to the attacks continue to emerge, with calls for international discussions and further measures against Russian aggression. The event has drawn strong condemnation from various world leaders, highlighting the need for a united response.
