Benfica is in advanced negotiations to sign Alessandro Circati, a 22-year-old Australian defender. The player, who is arriving from Parma, is already in Lisbon to finalize the transfer to the Eagles.
According to reports, the club from Luz is expected to pay 18 million euros, plus two million in performance-related bonuses. The deal appears to be on track, with Circati already planning to sign the contract in the city.
The player will also undergo the usual medical examinations before the contract is officially finalized. Circati's arrival represents a significant reinforcement for Benfica's defense.
