Students in Patna, Bihar, demonstrated against the 70th BPSC examination, voicing demands for its cancellation due to reported irregularities in the process. The protesters aimed to march towards the Chief Minister's residence, breaking through police barricades at the Dak Bungalow crossing during the unrest.

According to reports, students engaged in confrontations with law enforcement as they attempted to break the barricades. Many students were seen carrying the national tricolour during the protests, emphasizing their push for change.

The police responded to the escalating situation by using water cannons to disperse the gathering crowds. This led to an atmosphere where students reportedly joked about the water cannons turning into a 'rain dance'.

Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav wrote a letter to Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, urging him to acknowledge the demands of the students and engage in constructive dialogue to resolve the examination issues swiftly.

Protesters have not only called for the cancellation of the BPSC exam but also seek reforms to the Teacher Recruitment Examination and other recruitment processes in the state.

The ongoing demonstrations highlight broader concerns among students regarding transparency and fairness in Bihar's recruitment examinations, with significant public attention directed towards the government's handling of these issues.
