Cabo Verde aims to increase students in technical education
The government of Cabo Verde plans to boost enrollment in technical education, currently limited to 1,400 students.

The government of Cabo Verde has expressed its intention to increase the number of students attending technical education. Currently, about 1,400 students choose this path, in contrast to the 30,000 to 32,000 registered in general secondary education.
The Minister of Education emphasizes the need to reverse this situation, deeming it 'abnormal'. According to his statements, the current education model is not meeting the needs for workforce qualification in the country.
This effort aims to align the educational system with labor market demands, promoting more practical and targeted training. The government is developing strategies to encourage more young people to choose technical education.
