Camila Rebelo became the European vice-champion in the 200-meter backstroke at the swimming Europeans taking place in Paris. The swimmer finished the final in second place, thus securing a silver medal for Portugal.
According to reports, Rebelo set a new national record, marking her second improvement at the tournament on consecutive days. This achievement stands out not only for her individual performance but also for its historical significance, as it is Portugal's second silver medal in this competition.
In addition to Camila Rebelo, Diogo Ribeiro competed in the 50-meter butterfly event, finishing in fifth place.
