A website called Brasil 22, specializing in cryptocurrencies, has launched a campaign offering tokens to individuals who promote content in favor of voting for Flávio Bolsonaro of the PL. This initiative includes support for a charity for children in Uganda, highlighting that participants must share information about the 'community' on their social networks.

Brazil's Electoral Court considers such actions illegal since compensation for electoral propaganda is prohibited. According to lawyer Fernando Neisser, this practice cannot be conducted by candidates or companies supporting candidates.

The situation led President Lula's campaign to announce its intention to file a judicial electoral investigation against Flávio Bolsonaro. The complaint alleges an abuse of economic power and the improper use of media due to the exchange of cryptocurrencies for support for Bolsonaro.

The dance group Hypers Kids Africa, which had previously published a video in support of the candidate, announced it would return the 120 million tokens of $B22 received, following a public backlash. They have a significant following of 12.9 million on Instagram.

After the backlash, the group deleted the video and issued an apology. The decision to return the cryptocurrencies was marked as a response to the negative feedback received from followers, reflecting the controversy surrounding the campaign.

The combination of support for a candidate, the use of a cryptocurrency platform, and the legal repercussions has created a tense atmosphere in the electoral debate, which intensifies as the campaign approaches the elections.
