Celien Hermans (33) unveiled a tribute to her mother Margriet last month on the pier in Blankenberge. This tribute included no fewer than 5,000 paper daisies, created by listeners of Radio 2.
According to reports, the tribute, organized by VRT Zomerhit, has now found a new location. The letters of Margriet, decorated with crepe paper flowers, now have a place in the garden in Turnhout.
Celien is taking this homage back to her hometown in the Kempen, underscoring how significant this moment is for her.
