Large fires erupted in the West Midlands, injuring four people, including a child. Dramatic footage shared online showed significant flames engulfing homes and a golf course in the area. A fire chief reported that these incidents prompted thousands of emergency calls on one of the UK's hottest days this year.

The blazes have transformed the scene into what many described as 'apocalyptic', leading to extensive damage to residential properties. Emergency services responded swiftly, battling the flames to prevent further injuries and property loss.
