Complaint against Saint-Denis mayor for bogus employment

The mayor of Saint-Denis, Bally Bagayoko, is the target of a complaint filed by the association AC !! Anti-Corruption. The organization suspects the elected official of embezzling public funds and engaging in fictitious employment, as well as illegal conflict of interest and favoritism.

According to Canard enchaîné, Bally Bagayoko allegedly held a local mandate alongside a management position at RATP for several years. This situation may have been achieved without any competition or interview, raising questions about the legality of his recruitment.

The newspaper also indicates that holding two full-time public jobs is prohibited unless there is explicit and justified authorization, which could represent a breach on the part of the mayor.

The complaint follows investigations into his practices, fueling suspicions surrounding the management of his public duties and his employment at RATP.
