The Constitutional Court (TC) ruled that 11 provisions of the bill approved by parliament, which alters the granting of asylum and the return of foreigners, are constitutional. The decision was received by the Left Bloc (BE) as a "significant setback."

Despite the TC's approval of the provisions, the BE reaffirmed its opposition to the proposed changes, which they believe negatively affect the rights of migrants and refugees.

The BE's stance underscores the importance of continuing to fight for the protection of human rights in the context of immigration. The TC's decision does not alter their criticism of the new asylum regime resulting from the legislation in question.

The BE, which has been vocal on this issue, announced that it will continue to present alternatives to ensure fairer and more humanitarian asylum procedures.
