According to heise online, a data leak has been identified at the laptop manufacturer Framework, which is attributed to a recently discovered security vulnerability in Metabase. In light of this situation, Framework quickly informed its customers about the possible ramifications.
Metabase has also published its own security advisories to raise awareness of the issue and explain possible measures. The company is thus contributing to transparency regarding the security vulnerability.
