Domestic observers monitoring the Osun governorship election reported a peaceful atmosphere and a significant turnout of voters in Ede. The observers were noted to be present at polling units as early as 7 a.m., in advance of the accreditation and voting process, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
