E-scooter rider in critical condition after accident in Berlin

A serious accident involving an e-scooter occurred in Berlin. According to Der Tagesspiegel, the rider sustained life-threatening injuries after the fall and was taken to a hospital.

As e-scooters become increasingly popular in the capital, the dangers of these vehicles are becoming more apparent. Many people use e-scooters to navigate the city, but accidents are not uncommon.

In contrast, Paris has introduced a mandatory helmet law for e-scooter riders. According to reports from Deutschlandfunk, riders must also wear a safety vest or other reflective gear to enhance safety. Violators face fines ranging from 35 to 135 euros.
