Elections 2026: Tips and Guidance for Voters Across Brazil
Voters should be prepared for the 2026 elections, with guidance on polling places and the use of e-Título.

The first round of the 2026 Elections is scheduled for October 4, and electoral authorities emphasize the importance of voters checking their polling places. Approximately 7 million people are eligible to vote in Ceará, where various guidelines have been made available to facilitate the voting experience.
In Rio de Janeiro, around 670,000 voters have had their polling sections relocated, and the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-RJ) has announced that it will not issue individual notices regarding these changes. Voters are advised to confirm their polling locations before heading to the voting booths.
In Goiás, the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-GO) has created a guide for the use of e-Título, an app that allows voters to check their polling place. TRE-GO has also advised that voters who have not yet downloaded the app can do so from the app stores.

In Pará, TRE-PA has alerted voters to check their polling location and section number, as even those who usually vote at the same address should verify any possible changes. This is particularly important due to last-minute logistical changes.
In Amapá, oversight of electoral advertising will be intensified, with guidelines on what is permitted and prohibited on the eve and the day of the election. Voters should pay attention to these rules to avoid infractions.
Additionally, more than 240 polling locations have been changed in Rio Grande do Sul, affecting over 120,000 voters. Voters are advised to confirm their voting spaces through the appropriate channels before leaving home.
