The wildfire in Las Peñas de Riglos has affected approximately 8,000 hectares, leading to the evacuation of around 900 people from 12 localities. Recently, four additional municipalities were evacuated, raising the total to 16 affected areas.

The evacuated municipalities include Santa María de La Peña, Trieste, La Peña Estación, and Yeste. This situation has been reported by various media outlets and reflects the seriousness of the fire in the Huesca region.

Due to the fire's progression, the Government of Aragón has also ordered the relocation of the remains of the first Aragonese kings from the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña to the Museum of Huesca. This measure is being taken as a precaution against the risks posed by the fire.
