Extreme heat threatens EU economic growth
A study warns that drought and record heat could significantly reduce economic growth in the EU.
According to a study, the ongoing drought and heat may severely impact the expected economic growth in the European Union. Losses are estimated at around 180 billion euros, which corresponds to about one percent of the EU's economic output.
