Federal Cartel Office imposes millions in fines for illegal agreements

The Federal Cartel Office has imposed a total of 60.3 million euros in fines due to illegal agreements in the area of road repairs. The measures target several companies that unlawfully coordinated to influence prices.

In a statement, the Federal Cartel Office explained that the identified agreements had significantly impaired competitive conditions in the road repair market. The fines are intended to have a preventive character and to deter similar violations in the future.
