Alberto Núñez Feijóo, president of the Popular Party, has agreed to participate in a face-to-face debate with President Pedro Sánchez, proposed by Mediaset. The suggested date for this confrontation is November 16, according to reports from multiple sources.

In addition to the face-to-face debate, Feijóo has expressed his willingness to take part in another debate with all candidates, also proposed by Mediaset, scheduled for November 26. Through a letter, the PP's campaign director, Miguel Tellado, communicated these decisions to various media groups.

The PSOE has stated that it will attend all debates, but has criticized the PP, arguing that it is not up to this party to decide 'where and with whom to debate'. The discussion regarding the format and location of the debates continues among the parties.

Meanwhile, former Barcelona mayor Ada Colau has invited Gabriel Rufián, spokesperson for ERC in Congress, to lead the Broad Front with the aim of unifying the left on a national level. Colau emphasized the importance of all left-wing forces collaborating to meet the demands of the citizenry.

Colau expressed that the doors of the Broad Front are open for Rufián and urged him to exercise his leadership in the upcoming electoral process, where the general elections are scheduled for November 29.

The former mayor also warned about the need to close coalitions quickly, stressing that they must stop 'beating around the bush' and act decisively before the election date. This invitation from Colau highlights the challenge faced by the united left in the upcoming elections.
