Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the People's Party, stated that King Felipe VI "wants to go to Ceuta" and has requested that Pedro Sánchez's government authorize this visit, arguing that "it is his due." Feijóo criticized the government's management regarding the crisis in Ceuta and the situation at the border, where he mentioned that Morocco "either allowed or encouraged the invasion."

Furthermore, Feijóo demanded that the government impose a lockdown in Ceuta due to a "health risk" related to scabies and tuberculosis. The PP leader emphasized that scabies has affected members of the armed forces and linked the risk to the unsanitary conditions present in the city.

On another note, Feijóo also indicated that Pedro Sánchez could visit Waterloo in search of support for the budget, suggesting that former president Carles Puigdemont might not want to be photographed with him.
