Lorena Isceri, 45, was murdered by her ex-boyfriend Federico Vella, 36, who threw her off a bridge along the A1 motorway in the province of Florence. After the act, Vella took his own life.
Lorena's mother stated that her daughter was afraid of the relationship but never reported the threats. Reportedly, Lorena feared she would cause harm to her ex-partner, which contributed to her decision not to speak out about the situation.
The mother further explained that Lorena had expressed her fears to her, highlighting the distress she was living in. According to ANSA, the events unfolded quickly and were premeditated, as documented in a video.
