Ferrari Luce sold for $40 million at Monterey auction

The Ferrari Luce "Chassis 0," the first electric car produced by Maranello, was sold for $40 million during the Sotheby’s auction held during Monterey Car Week. This event marks a record as it represents the highest price ever paid for a new car.

The vehicle is a unique "Tailor Made" version and surpassed the previous record held by the Daytona SP3, which sold for $26 million in 2025. The considerable proceeds from the sale will be directed to charitable purposes.
