On Sunday morning, a fire broke out in Boticas, in the district of Vila Real. The blaze mobilized over 200 firefighters, who are working at the scene to control the flames.
According to RTP, the fire in Boticas is part of a wave of fires that also affected the Moncorvo area, where over 600 firefighters are participating in the response operations.
The firefighting teams continue to work tirelessly in an effort to extinguish the blazes and ensure the safety of the local population.
