Fires in Tírig and Niebla: Progress in Extinction Efforts

The fire in Tírig has been brought under control after burning more than 800 hectares. According to the provided information, the firefighting efforts allowed for the withdrawal of the Military Emergency Unit (UME), which participated in the operations over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the fire in Niebla continues to advance with significant leaps, despite the wind. This blaze has consumed approximately 28,000 hectares, according to the Andalusian Emergency Minister, Antonio Sanz.
The situation is considered complex, leading to 681 people remaining away from their homes due to evacuations necessary for their safety.
