Fire in Tírig (Castellón) Affects More Than 800 Hectares

The forest fire in Tírig, Castellón, has affected more than 800 hectares according to reports. Despite the extent of the fire, the situation is considered to be evolving very favorably. The dry storm that occurred last Friday was the cause of four simultaneous ignition points, prompting the province to face its second forest emergency in two weeks.
Nearly fifty residents have had to leave their homes and spent the night in the municipal sports center, which is also housing six minors and five animals. Additionally, eight elderly and dependent individuals have been relocated to a care home in Morella for their safety.
