Hundreds flee from wildfires in Andalusia

In the province of Huelva in southwestern Spain, hundreds of people have had to leave their homes due to a wildfire. According to the regional government of Andalusia, around 474 individuals have been safely evacuated. The fire, which broke out on Thursday, has already scorched an area of approximately 8,000 hectares.

This year's wildfire season in Spain has been unusually severe, raising concerns among residents. While no towns are currently threatened, the situation remains tense as the fire spreads rapidly.

Reports indicate that the fire is currently "beyond firefighting capacity." A minister stated that the challenges in combating the flames are significant and emphasized the urgency of the evacuations.

The regional government has initiated emergency measures to support the affected areas. At the same time, the situation is being closely monitored to potentially order further evacuations should the need arise.
