The reimbursement process is occurring gradually, with companies submitting their refund claims ‘invoice by invoice.’ This process is reportedly slow, but some reports suggest that the repayments are happening faster than expected.
The refunds are a result of the Supreme Court's decision to invalidate the import tariffs imposed during the Trump administration.
